The experts in sandblasting wonderful wood

We are surrounded by objects made of wood and sometimes they need some attention to bring them back to their original look instead of spending a fortune to relplace the items.

There are basically two types of wood , hardwood and softwood.

Hardwood can be gently sandblasted to remove paint and varnish to give it the “as new” look again, and bring new life to garden furniture as in the above photograph.

Softwood is only sandblasted to give a distressed look, and we are quite frequently asked to do this for certain themes that are being designed for customers.

Examples of this are bar fronts to give the impression of a bygone age and crazy golf sections to resemble driftwood. We normaslly do a couple of samples for the client and let them decide the level that we must distress the wood.

It does give us a buzz to see the change in the wood as we gently sandblast the surface.
