excellent work method gives fantastic results
We have been in the blast clean business for nearly 35 years and have worked on countless different types of job, but our work method is constantly improving.
I started 35 years ago sandblasting in an old 20ft container with a converted 5 gallon drum on my head with a clear viewing screen cut into it.
Times change , and so even throwing sand at an object to clean it changes.
Now our compressors are elctronically controlled, this gives a very precise air pressure and volume for any given job. This means that whatever you bring us , we can blast clean it in the best and safest manner.
When air is compressed, moisture is produced in abundance, This is not good when sandblasting metal, but there are many out there who do not use refrigerated dryers to remove all moisture and therefore are not doing the work to the best of their ability.
Our compressor produces 400 CFM and can work up to 160 PSI .
This is great for doing heavily corroded steelwork, but we can electronically turn down the volume and pressure so that we can blast clean one layer of paint at a time off an aluminium panel.
There is no substitute for experience in knowing what pressure to use and what size blast nozzle to fit to blast clean a given job.
All our air goes through a refrigerated dryer so that when we blast clean there is no moisture present.
We use a xylene zinc phosphate or 2K epoxy primer which is applied as soon as we have finished the blast clean process and have blown and residual media from the work area.
We do this so that there is no surface moisture between the metal and the primer
In addition every job that comes through our workshop is done to the best of our ability.
As we have had repeat customers for over thirty years, we know that we are at the pinnacle of the blast clean profession and will continue to work so that every customer leaves our workshop content.
